JR Ricker - Head of Growth

“The demand for long-term care will more than double in the next 10 years. Meanwhile, the number of health professionals is dwindling. That's why Paid.care cherishes the vital role caregivers play and has built a solution to train, pay, and support family caregivers. It’s our mission to serve and support caregivers so they can confidently care for their loved ones at home,” said JR Ricker, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer for Paid.care. “With the launch of Paid.care and our native mobile application, we’re thrilled that we are now able to serve family caregivers in Indiana in a deep, connected way with a combination of the best people plus best technology."

As members of Paid.care, our Indiana family and friend caregivers will have access to a designated care coach, financial coach, and educational resources so they can care with peace and confidence. Family caregivers will receive scheduled coaching from professionals who are experienced in working with family caregivers and will have access to their coach through native care app.

The combination of a payment alongside a free care and financial coach is a first-of-a-kind service is a first in the U.S., and made possible thanks to Indiana’s Aged and Disabled (A&D) Medicaid waiver that allows individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled to remain in their home as an alternative to nursing facility placement.

Brooks Butler - Co-founder & Head of Care

“We are thrilled to launch Paid.care in our home state of Indiana!” said Brooks Butler, Co-founder and Head of Care at Paid.care. “There are more than 53 million family caregivers in the U.S. providing an astonishing 470 billion dollars worth of care -- that includes nearly 800,000 family caregivers across Indiana who have taken on significant caregiving responsibilities for their family members and friends. Even more noteworthy is that only 20% of households are aware of programs that can help compensate them for their hard work. Paid.care is here to change that while supporting family caregivers in a way never been done before.”
